    SPECIAL EVENT - Plein Air Painting with Mark Brown at Byodo-In Temple - Valley of the Temples
    Painting with Mark Brown on Saturday, Nov. 1, will be on the windward side in Temple Valley. We will be painting at the Byodo-In Temple in the very back of the Temple Valley Cemetery in Kane'ohe. This Byodo-In Temple is a replica of a nearly 1000 year old Byodo-In Temple in Uji, Japan. There are a few differences, this Temple in scaled down in size and it's made of concrete and not wood as was the original.

    Exhibition - Mark N. Brown Artwork Featured at Morning Brew in Kailua
    Mark is one of the few Plein Air Artists in Hawaii. Plein Air artists paint their paintings entirely outside at the site of the painting subject.     Special Event - 2nd Annual Surf Art and The Surfer Art Festival 2014 - Featuring Hawaii Art from Mark N. Brown
    "Surf Art and the Surfer" Art Exhibition is Surfing The Nations' second installment of an annual commitment to bring the surf community together and highlight the sport of surfing and the people who make surfing great. STN's goal is to bring surfers, surf artists and photographers, surf historians and musicians, and surf lovers together to promote surfing and STN's motto "Surfers Giving Back".
