InspirationI did "Pu'uikena Beach" on location in 4 - 5 hour sessions and was inspired by turn of the century artist John Singer Sargent's "Shell Gather's" painting. Some of the days the water tide was higher so I just worked the upper part of the painting. But when the tide was low, it was a feast for the eye's and brush.
