This painting of the Surfers happened on the beach in real time and was also purchased off my easel. As it is illegal to sell on a public beach, arrangements were made to deliver the painting to the client - which hours before were just beach people.
As I make my living as a artist, when you capture a scene well enough, it's like you get paid spiritually when your senses get filled with endorphins.
