Inspiration	What started out as a 12"x 24" smaller study grew into the 48" x 60" original oil. I wanted it to have that earthy archival Kodak Hula Show look and achieved it by using paper towels to brush in the paint in a rough manner and feathered later with a brush. I painted it from a photo I took at Aloha Tower Marketplace during a Hula Performance. Since I had worked at the Willows in my younger days, this setting made me remember the Kanikapila times.
