This 30"x40" original Oil painting of Wo Fat in Chinatown was awarded to the lucky ballot box drawn ticket to Karen and Ted , at the Summer Marketplace at Kahala nui. The painting valued at $2800.00 was the last and showcase of 8 prizes drawn from separate boxes. To place a ticket in the box for the original painting , a person would have to buy #3 - $20 tickets. One of my students in the Thursday art class purchased 54 tickets worth $1080, but she did not win, the money went towards bonuses for non tip employees.
